  Complex of flavonoids isolated from the root of Scutellaria baicalensis 1.33 g
• Allantoin (Allantoinum)  1.00 g
• Auxiliary substances
  Polioxiethylenated cetyl-stearyl alcohol, glycerol monostearate, actadecan-1-ol, octyl stearate, capryl triglyceride, decyl oleate, glycerol (E 422), karbomer, sodium carbonate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, purified water.

What is Baikaderm® and why it is used

Baikaderm® is a cream containing complex of flavonoids isolated from the root of Baikal skullcap (Scutellaria baicalensis G.) and allantoin.

It is assumed that anti-inflammatory effects of flavone complex are based on synthesis inhibition of cell mediators of inflammatory states. Besides, the complex of flavones inhibits secretion of histamine and decreases permeability of capillaries, thus reducing edemas accompanying inflammations.

Allantoin has been used because of its wound healing properties.

Indications for application

Recommended as a supplementary drug in the treatment of skin inflammations of unclear etiology, inflammatory states caused by mechanical injuries as well as in the course of acne (papulous-pustular acne). Also as an agent alleviating skin irritations.

Before you apply Baikaderm® cream

Do not apply Baikaderm®

In case of skin damage and hypersensitivity to any of the product components.
The drug should not be applied in children.

Pregnancy and breast feeding

Because of unknown risk of application of Baikaderm® preparation to skin in pregnant and breast feeding women it is not recommended to use it during these periods.

Driving of vehicles and operation of moving mechanisms

Baikaderm® has no influence on the ability to drive vehicles and operate moving mechanisms.

How to apply Baikaderm®

Put a portion of the cream of about 2 cm length onto an undamaged skin. Rub the changed places with cream 3-4 times a day. The drug can be used under occlusion dressing.

Possible undesired effects

So far, no undesired effects have been reported during application of Baikaderm®, however, in case of their occurrence it is necessary to consult a physician or a pharmacist.

Storage of Baikaderm®

Store at the temperature not exceeding 25°C. Store out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use the drug after expiry date.
